Regulations for Home Visit Application: In accordance with Article 28, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Prison Act.

Required Documents for Home Visit Application:

(a) In the event of the death of an inmate's relative (to be approved by the institution):

1. Death certificate.

2. Obituary or other sufficient proof of the funeral date and location.

3. Sufficient proof of the relationship between the inmate and the visitor, such as household registration or other relevant documents.

(b) In the event of the critical illness of an inmate's relative (to be reviewed and approved by the institution and submitted to the Correctional Agency for final approval):

1. Medical certificate issued by a medical institution for diagnosis.

2. Notification of critical illness issued by a medical institution within the past three days or other sufficient proof of critical illness.

3. Sufficient proof of the relationship between the inmate and the visitor, such as household registration or other relevant documents.

(c) In the event of significant injury to an inmate's relative due to a disaster (to be reviewed and approved by the institution and submitted to the Correctional Agency for final approval):

1. Medical certificate issued by a medical institution for diagnosis or other sufficient proof of significant injury.

2. Sufficient proof of the disaster listed in Article 2, paragraph 1, of the Disaster Prevention and Rescue Act that the visitor has experienced.

3. Sufficient proof of the relationship between the inmate and the visitor, such as household registration or other relevant documents.

Application Procedure:

(a) Application submitted by the inmate's family member and reported by the inmate.

(b) Application submitted by the inmate and reported by the inmate.
