One month before the release of an ex-offender from prison, a rehabilitation survey will be conducted to determine their willingness to undergo rehabilitation. For those who apply for travel subsidies to return home, the case worker will verify the balance of their deposit account card. If the balance is insufficient or nonexistent, the Taiwan Association for Rehabilitation of Offenders will commission the prison to provide transportation and meal subsidies to facilitate their return home.
