In order to improve the quality of volunteer education in correctional institutions and strengthen the effectiveness of counseling, the Supervisor held the "110 Annual Volunteer Training" in the conference room on September 9. Our selfless dedication on weekdays, assisting in various education and counseling work, express infinite gratitude, and emphasize that correction agencies have attached great importance to education in recent years, but it is not easy to reform a person. It requires the joint efforts of volunteer partners and our supervisors. I hope that in the process of accompanying, supporting and caring for the inmates, they can touch their hearts, improve their character, and become a good citizen again. In addition, this time, counseling psychologist Zheng Yunqing was invited to the supervisor to give lectures on "Information on Trauma and Stress Response Models" and "Life of the Epidemic Prevention Heart: Stress Adjustment and Self-care under the Epidemic" to discuss how to assist helpers to learn about trauma and respond to stress. It also teaches volunteers the skills, basic concepts, personality traits, and other concepts that can be used when meeting with the host, so that volunteers will be more helpful in future counseling. In addition, the epidemic has made everyone’s lives anxious. Ask a counseling psychologist to teach everyone how to take care of themselves under the epidemic. A total of 15 volunteers participated in the course this time. The volunteers said that the course arrangement is quite substantial and rewarding.
