To allow inmates to send New Year's greetings to long-lost relatives before the Lunar New Year, the prison, in cooperation with Chunghwa Telecom Keelung Operations Office, added 32 free dialing lines for the "2026 Inmate Lunar New Year Phone Call Event" held on February 5th, 2026. A total of 256 inmates expressed their longing for their families before the Lunar New Year, hoping to receive support, encouragement, and care, and regain the strength for a new life.
