On December 2nd, the Superintendent worked with the Keelung Drug Hazard Prevention and Control Center and the Libertas Foundation to handle the family counseling day of the drug-free family support group. Today, family members are invited to join the prison to attend classes together, to provide opportunities for the detainees to express their aspirations for detoxification, to learn how to get along with their families, and to strengthen the connection between the detainees and the family. Each detainee writes a letter to the family members and reads love to the family. Thank you, teachers from the Libertas Foundation share the detoxification process and the experience of family companionship to the family as a pastor. The atmosphere is warm and moving, and I hope that the family will become a powerful resource and important partner for the inmates on the way to rehabilitation. A total of 6 inmates and 9 family members participated this time.
