Keelung District Prosecutors Office Announcement: Report Bribery via Line and Receive Rewards - Convenient, Confidential, and Affordable

Elections are a significant event in democratic Taiwan. The Central Election Commission has announced that the 2022 Nine-in-One Elections will be held on November 26th. True democracy begins with fair elections, where candidates rely on good policies and strong track records to win. Cheating, such as bribery or engaging in illegal activities, such as treating voters to food or drinks, is unacceptable. Similarly, spreading false information, resorting to violence, or using money to influence election results is a violation of fairness.

It is everyone's responsibility to report bribery. We encourage everyone to bravely report any incidents of bribery. The reporting hotline is 0800-024-099, and press 4 after the call is connected.

Keelung District Prosecutors Office has introduced a new technological approach to combat bribery. We have established the "Keelung District Prosecutors Office Anti-Bribery Line QR Code" for individuals to join. If you have any information regarding bribery and wish to report it secretly, securely, and directly to a prosecutor, you can send a message via the "Keelung District Prosecutors Office Anti-Bribery LINE@" platform. The message will be received and handled by dedicated personnel responsible for investigating bribery cases at the Keelung District Prosecutors Office. The identity of the whistleblower will be kept strictly confidential, so please feel reassured when using this platform.
