1. Actively promote diversified self-operated operations

Although the space in this prison is small and limited, in order to keep the inmates working hard, on the one hand, they engage in production to obtain profits and increase their income from working wages. The self-operated operation has been established, and the food department has been established. The products include tempura, handmade fish balls, karaoke sticks, one-mouth cakes, pineapple cakes, and egg yolk cakes. The products are diverse and well received by consumers. In addition, various processing operations have been expanded and self-operated car washing operations have been established. In line with economic development trends, the operating subjects have been flexibly adjusted to meet the needs of the existing labor market.
  

2. Strengthen skills training and cultivate employment skills

In order to increase the participation rate of inmates and adapt to the local cultural characteristics of Keelung, we are still actively conducting short-term marketing and baked food classes (2 sessions), traditional snack classes (2 sessions) and computer software application classes (1 session). There are 60 people in total. In addition, in order to expand the skills that meet the needs of the job market, we will cooperate with the Beiji Yihua Jinma Branch of the Labor Development Agency of the Ministry of Labor, and it is expected to open various technical training courses. According to statistics, the participation rate of technical training for prisoners is about 20%.
  

3. Strengthen the self-confidence of detainees returning to society, and handle independent work outside the prison

The prison actively handles independent work outside the prison, so as to rebuild the bridge between the prisoner and the society and family, understand the pulse of society, develop interpersonal relationships, gain the power of transformation and new life, and turn his life around after leaving prison to pursue happiness. At present, we have signed cooperation contracts with 5 manufacturers, and the daily stable number of workers is about 15. In addition, the prison took the initiative to go to the Keelung Employment Center and use the multimedia network, newspapers, etc. to inquire about various channels for the employment opportunities of the detainees, so as to help the detainees to smoothly integrate with the society after they are released from prison.
